A List of Volvo Paint Colors and Their Codes

You are launching your self into a world of complexity trying to view/match colours on the web.

There are three compounding factors

The colour balance of the person taking the picture
How the picture is rendered in outer browser
The settings on your monitor.

Once you finish convoluting these, the results is…. Why doesn’t this colour look like I expected?

The way I've been handling that problem, is by doing a specific search for what ever color I'm interested in. You can then view "All images" and get a better idea of how the color looks in many different settings. I think that probably gives you the best estimate as to how it will look, short of seeing it actually sprayed on metal.

Foggy put me onto the guys in New Orleans who do a pretty nice job of colour matching. I have Volvo touch up for most of the fleet. Pretty easy as 99% are 417

DECONFLICTION ALERT: 428 also known as Garnet Red Metallic (possibly in UK or Europe marketing). Coral or Garnet.
