New MVS Web Site Beta Testing

Post by matthew1 »

What in the world is this?

For the 99% of those out there who have no idea what this means, I'm asking you to be in a small group that gives me feedback on the new MVS web site.

I'll give you the URL, and you go and do things like poke around, log in, change your profile settings, edit your posts, post on the forum, create new accounts, etc. In other words, test it.

Then you'll write criticism on that test forum, not in emails to me.

You don't need to be a programmer to do it. In fact, it looks and acts much like this forum, just more modern looking and functioning.

Do you want to participate?

Email me: matt [[at]] matthewsvolvosite [[dot]] com and say you'd like to participate.

Please include your MVS Forum username, and please have at least 20 posts here as a MVS Forum member.

Please understand...
  • *Because I'm still working on the new site, things will change from day-to-day and even hour-to-hour.

*The test site's forum will be erased when the site is launched, so it's not the place to ask real Volvo questions that you want real answers to.

*I must write the site to work for the majority, but not that last .1% of users. You may have a very small screen resolution from 1998, or some other computer feature, that I just can't write the site for.

*Your email address will be shared with the others in this special test group.

*We're just testing the new forum for now.

Thanks to those who participate,
Matt

Matt,

Looks like I am late again but I have been away for a few days. Of course, I could always say the message took a long time to swim across the pond.

Email has been sent.
