Clonned Dice unit cannot communicate with Car- Solved Topic is solved

V70 2007 P2/ cloned Dice unit cannot communicate with 2014D VIDA on Windows 7 Pro laptop. The only communication tool showing is SM2-USB. The only "steady" light showing on the DICE device it the "Firmware Status" one. None of the other light have ever turned on, or blinked. I have spent hours looking for a Win 7 pro laptop and installing VIDA, and now I am stuck at this last stage. I would appreciate every little help from the community.

Solution:
I installed X86 patch, tried the DICE on another similar car but did not work. Tried it again on my car, clicked on and off some of the configuration options of the communication tool, SM2 USB, then selected the transmission type and model and finally the Diagnostics tab became active. Cleared successfully the SRS dashboard light.

I use my Dice clone very little, so remembering the process for connecting to make it work is always a challenge. I just am usually busy with a friends car and never sit down to write uo the sequence I need to use. However, I'm sometimes convinced it is just playing silly beggers with me. I have had issues with it connecting to a few cars, but mostly get there in the end.
