I used a similar, but not so expensive, film on my 960 headlights because our local gritting team seem to prefer 2" diam lumps of salt. It did work when the car in front of mine was hit by the salt and lost the driver's headlight with multiple chips in the paintwork. When it came to my turn I only had the chips in the paintwork.

You can order through the IPD website - click on the link at the top right of the forum.

Mine did not affect the headlights as it was clear just like that on IPD's site.

Mapwop: my post above has a link in it that goes right to the IPD product page. (The underline means that those words are hyperlinked.)

thanks, i noticed when i scrolled back to it. i had to make an appt. with my garage and i ask them if they were familiar with this product, and they are going to check into the state inspection laws regarding this.our state is very particular about things of this nature apparently. also they questioned the fact that i have the headlight wipers, and wondered if they would still work as designed with this film. food for thought. but thanks for your input.if you have anymore thoughts regarding these other concerns, i would be interested in hearing them.
