Thanks Matt...holding "Ctrl" while clicking brings up a new tab...not necessarily a new window, but it's good to know a different way. You would think after working in Windows for 15 years I would have known that by now.

One more question....the old forum seemed to have more options for smilies. Is there a possibility to add more here?

Now (this morning) it's working perfectly, go figure..... :?:
When I checked in this AM I was actually on! I didn't have to re log in.
Flipping back and forth from forum to forum, no issues...

Let's hope so...sometimes turning a computer off and back on helps the computer "heal" itself.
Btw, Jim, if you go into your preferences and select signature you can loose the spaces between the lines...currently they are double spaced- something that the conversion software to this new forum format didn't take care of.

Good news JRL.

MIJ, yes there are "smiley packs" if you can believe that. I'll get to installing more smileys soon.

It just booted me off and I see the problem and this IS YOUR issue.
Matt,
If you're in a forum and you click the return arrow, (back to the previous page) instead of going there it says "Webpage has expired", continue back paging and YOU ARE OFF and have to log in again and this is NOT right.
It should not say or do that, this is not a bank where security issues are involved.
I just tried this several times and it happens every single time
I suggest MIJ or you Matt try this as a normal user and I'll bet this happens to you

I use the back button all of the time on this forum and never have this issue. I even logged out as a moderator and came back as a guest, going deep into several threads (several pages) and then used the back button to go back to where I came- no problem what-so-ever. Sorry but I disagree that it's the forum's software problem.

I'm a normal user, and I still have had absolutely no problems on neither my iPhone, my mac, my PC, or my laptop... pressing return, poking around in the repair pages, no problems to really speak of, particularly not in being logged out, or having issues with the like when using the back button or alt+ <-- or alt+-->.
