S40 2001 How many miles do these cars last?

Hi i am considering purchasing a 2001 Volvo S40 with 127k on it. I used to drive a 1998 Volvo S70 and was very satisfied. It had 208k on it with no problems when i totaled it. I was just wondering if this 2001 S40 will last for many more miles.

If you drive a Volvo s40 please tell me how many miles are on your car and if you are experiencing any severe problems. Thanks

I have a 2000 S40 with 100,000 miles. I had to put a new seal on it twice so far, new turbo at 88,000 miles. Right now it needs a new oxygen sensor and some work on the front end. But I still like the car, its solid and gets decent gas mileage.

My 02 S40 has over 205K. I purchased it brand new in Germany (don't know if that makes a difference?) and have driven it all over the US and Europe...I can't say enough about the comfort and reliability- it's my first Volvo, but certainly won't be my last! I'm just now having some trouble with it ie: timing belt and or fuel pump...but besides that I've not had to put more then a few thousand $$ (that including oil changes/brakes/tires etc...) into it in over 7 years!
