1999 S80 T6 rear seatback removal

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

1999 S80 T6 rear seatback removal

Post by rbrad9753 »

I have a 1999 S80 T6 and my fuel pump is not keeping up the pressure, it will start and run for about 30 seconds and then stall out. I received the new pump yesterday and plan on installing it over this weekend after I received excellent instructions from MadeInJapan, but I do not know how to properly remove the fold down seat back cushion to get to the access plate for the fuel pump. Do I just remove the bolted on bracket in between the two seat backs and just lift them out? Any info on how to remove the seat backs will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Robert
