ETM Warranty

I have a 1999 S80 T6 with a Check engine light that keeps coming on. Sometimes it flashes and sometimes it just stays illuminated then there will be a couple of days when it is not on. What codes will I see if this issue is related to the ETM? I just completed the ABS module repair and have also changed the fuel pump and that has solved the other issues I had but the check engine light still comes on from time to time. I prefer to be well educated on the issue before I have to bring the car into the dealer and pay them alot of my hard earned money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry to say I am in a similar boat. I just had my etm on my 99 volvo replaced it is a 10yr 200,000mi warranty. Unfortunetly the 99 series most likely expired in 2008 since most of the 99's were purchased in 98. Beware, I just has all 3 done on my 99 t-6 and all the same problems are still occuring. I will let you know what they determine as I even have 26yr volvo vet stumped.
