any s60 buying guides around?

Looking for a frequent problem list and/or checklist or guide on these cars. Specifically interested in an 01 s60 t5 automatic with 130kmi, if anyone wants to cast an opinion that'd be great too...

01 is apparently the worst year for these. I really don't know much about them but I've heard to avoid the AWD unless you really need it and buy the most recent model you can afford.
Good luck.

Generally stay away from 01's too many problems and BAD transmissions.
Almost every one of these fails at one point, do some searching here and on other boards and you will find out why

I really appreciate the tips. Seems that this valve body problem went through to about '03. I'll try and stay away from these cars I guess. It seems like the problems kick in right around the mileage on this particular car so its out of the running for sure...

As I said to the other gentleman if you're anywhere near the Northeast (US) I would be happy to find you a GREAT car at about wholesale!
I don't know your budget but 03's and even now 04's are becoming VERY cheap (for me) to buy.

I'm in Mass, so I'd be interested in hearing what "very cheap" is. I'd be interested in either a 2.4t or t5 with leather and heated seats (which is pretty common anyway i guess). If you could email me at <my mvs username>@gmail.com I'd appreciate it.
