Turn signal does work

Post by aszczepa »

I have a 1998 V70 wagon. When the turn indicator is activated (either left or right or hazards) the turn light on the dash will come on and the turn lights (front and back) come on however they do not flicker. I have checked the manual but there is nothing indicating what the problem could be. I checked the fuses and have a suspition its the turn switch. Has anyone experienced this problem?

It sounds like the flasher relay isn't cycling. Call your dealer and ask the service dept. for its location. It's a plug-in and should be easy to change.

The flasher relay is built into the hazard switch. The hazard switch is mounted next to the ashtray on the dash.

HOW DO YOU REPLACE THE EMERGENCY HAZZARD SWITCH ON A '98 V70?
