Has anyone else had bad customer service with Swedish Auto Supply (formerly TheVolvoSite)? They may have a lot of Volvo parts at reasonable prices, but I'm wondering if I'm alone in my opinion of their lack of customer service.
I paid for parts to be delivered next day but they sent them ground instead. I caught this when I checked package tracking and called to complain. All I could get out of them was an apology and a refund on the shipping cost difference. I was polite but rather firm that they remedy the situation (this holiday weekend was the only time I could work on the car). Their policy would not allow them to send the parts again without charging me twice.
Many companies would make an effort at customer satisfaction and take a chance on me not returning the late parts (which I would). Their risk is $400 but they will lose more than that in future business with me and perhaps others who find out the hard way that Swedish Auto doesn't want to correct their errors.
So am I just the one in a million unlucky dudes who has trouble with Swedish Auto, or is this a typical experience with them?

I moved this to the parts supplier opinion section. I feel your pain. I had a similar circumstance with a different company waiting on parts that screwed up a weekend that I planned to do a repair due to lack of all of the parts required.
