radio code model sc 805 vol vo v40 1999
Hi, my garage did some work on my car and had to disconnect the battery. The problem i'm having is all the sites i have been on to find code say enter 14 didget code but the serial number on my radio has 15 didgets. I have looked on radio and there are no numbers on it with 14 didgets. Am i looking in wrong place? can anyone help? thanks martyn

It's a 4 digit code and you can't keep punching in codes.
After 3 tries it shuts down and diplays "OFF" which I'm sure yours does now!

You'll have to keep it on for at least 2 hours (that means not turning the car off) for the "off" to go to "code" again where you can enter the correct 4 digit code.
