I am trying to remove the O2 Sensor from the rear of the exhaust manifold. My problem is that the only tool I can get on this thing is an open end wrench. However, my wrench is so long that the brake lines on passenger side wheel well keep me from swinging the wrench. Plus, the bolt tab next to the sensor presents a clearance issue preventing me from putting either a socket or a box end wrench on the sensor.
Is there some type of special tool available to allow O2 sensor replacement with the manifold in the car or do I have to remove the entire exhaust manifold to replace the sensor?
If anyone has any thoughts, please let me know.

There is a special tool which can be obtained from IPD and probably other outlets.
This gives you an idea of what it looks like.
