Vadis question

I have been looking around to purchase the Vadis cd's. Has anyone purchased these lately? I have read that it requires you to set the clock on your pc back, is that true?

Not the later version which seems to be the only one on sale now.

You will probably find them cheaper on eBayUK. This is one example:

This vadis on ebay is only around $6.00 u.s. for a buy it now. So cheap it worries me. For the price I guess it would be worth it, and hope it works properly!

BTW, they're not on CD's...they're on DVD's, though burned as data.
