V70-XC 2001 Trailer Lights

I am finding it very difficult to find anyone who can wire the trailer lights onto my car. I have been told this takes a special adapter. Hauling my boat during the day, lights are not an issue but would like to get the car wired this winter to be ready for ??? next year. Does anyone know where I can get an adapter for the connection of wires I found in the spare tire/battery compartment? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Look in your spare wheel well...our '04 V70 has a plug already there that you just need to plug into for more lights out the rear (at least I've always assumed and have also been told that this is what the extra plug is for)...Possibly, yours has the same.
