Drive safely and slowly and avoid bumps...you don't want the strut tearing through the top....probably the upper spring seat and possibly the mount will be trashed anyway and will all have to be replaced. Btw, I would replace everything on that side that needs replacing in pairs- that means on the other side as well. Furthermore, spring rates change as the car ages...you want everything to be balanced.
