My opinion on any oil leak is get it sorted out ASAP. The oil should be in the engine not all over the underside.

However, the final decision will be based on finance. How long are you going to keep the car and is the expense/bother worth it?

Bill.

Mines been leaking for 3 years...it was worse before I had the PCV system serviced now it's just a small drop. I don't even need to add any oil between oil changes, it stays pretty close to topped off. My vote is just keep oil in the car. When/if I have the tranny replaced I'll get it done then, it's a cheap part.

If you are not haveing to add oil between changes I would not worry about it for now. Like you said, change it if your pulling the tranny or something. But deffinently keep an eye on it, it could get worse.
