81 240 wiring harness replacement-need better manual!

Hello- I have a '81 240 with K-jetronic and am trying to install a new wiring harness. The Haynes manual is very vague on removing the fuel distributor. The old harness is just coming apart in my hands as I disassemble it. It's amazing the thing ran and didn't start a fire. I lost ignition and read that it's best to replace the harness before I try troubleshooting anything else. I'm glad that I'm taking pictures as I go along. If anyone can rec a good manual or a source for same-Thank You-Jim

volvo makes excellent wiring diagrams I think mine cost $27 (88 240) See volvo technical publications.
