access to windshield washer reservoir in 2001 XC wagon

my reservoir has been leaking ever since i ran into a snowbank last winter. I assume it is cracked and want to know if the best way to access it is from the top down, through the engine compartment, or from the bottom up, in front of the RF wheel? Any tips? watch out for's?

Hate to tell you this but the bumper cover on that side has to come loose and you have to get to it from under the car. If you want the full write-up for this, shoot me an email and I'll send you a pdf that explains how it's all done.

I know this response is old but thank you for your help. I took the bumper off as you suggested. Came at the reservoir from the bottom. Found that the reservoir was fully intact and i had a small tear in the hose connected to the reservoir. a 1 inch piece of small black hose did the trick. cost of repair....1 penny for the hose and 2 hours of my time. Thanks again
