2001 V70 O2 Sensor Wiring

Post by jwgalley »

I purchased a Bosch universal O2 sensor (front) to replace the original that was throwing an error code (p0032). problem is I cannot find instructions on connecting to the old wiring harness. The new wires are black grey and white. Can anyone provide instructions for wiring this properly to the existing wiring harness? thanks

It depends on your version of the control system. You can download the schematics from here:

http://pliki.mojevolvo.pl/volvotechinfo ... n_3_39.pdf

It is a server in Poland and it is very slow - give it a few minutes to launch the PDF file as well.

See pages 35 to 37. If you have a Denso system, the two white wires on the universal are heater wires and it appears that they mate with the black wires from the old sensor. The schematics really don't call out what is positive and negative on the sensor leads though.

This may be of help as well:
