rear hub on 2002 S60 AWD

I believe my right rear wheel hub bearing assembly is bad.(noise in rear end sounds like a howl from bad tires) I tried to remove the bearing hub but could not get it to break loose. Has anyone had a problem with these, and any tips as to removal and install would be great. Also after my failed attempt of removal, my ABS light and traction light are now on, what could I have done, any ideas?

I hope this helps...it has both in it, the front and the rear hub replacements:

You mentioned that this could be from a bad tire. Let's hope your AWD system isn't messed up. With uneven tires on the same axle, this is a common problem with AWD Volvo's. In regards to the ABS sensor, you might have pulled the wire loose (let's hope not). Clean it well and check the wiring and put it back like it's suppose to go. Don't put any unneeded pressure on it.
