Help keep MVS on the web -> click sponsors' links here on MVS when you buy from them.

Also -> Amazon link
. Click that when you go to buy something on Amazon and MVS gets a cut!

Talk to Crystal or Ben at Sweedish Engineering. I have been buying all of my 850 parts from them. They will even ask their techs about certain problems.
Uncle Boost, Temp sensors usually throw engines out of whack. I work for BMW and have worked for INFINIFI (Nissan). They all do that.... it's not a secret plot. Brickboard.com, BAY 13 has some great stuff.... Don't forget about GOOGLE. FCP Groton has some great prices on stuff.
Be careful about flushing the tranny. Could make it worse.
This is a great forum. I'm a newby, but this sight absolutely rocks!!!
Let me know if you need any more help. DIY is the best way for the arm chair mechanic. Example: Local dealer wanted $949 for rotors/pads all around.
I bought the parts from Sweedish Engineering for about $300.
Called my best friend.... the rest is histroy (it was my first brake job too!!)

Great post uncleboost...

I am going to try what you suggested for my '93 850 GLT. I will let you all know how it goes. I was just about to send the car in to my neighborhood Volvo mechanic, and boy was I glad to find this post.

I'll keep you posted.
