Re: V70GLT 2000 Starting issue - Cold or Hot

After a while, the car reverted to the same behavior, really limping along after the first cold start in the morning. After the first start, I'd get the CEL and TRACS lights on the dash. The car would run OK eventually, but I'd still have trouble starting it every time.

So, I brought it to the garage where I bought the car. These guys sell and service a lot of Volvos. He suggested the car needs a software upgrade, and that I need to bring it to the dealer to get it done. He said it was throwing so many codes, that it pointed to the software as the culprit.

I'm going to bite the bullet here, any last minute advice before I head down to the dealer?

Thanks again.
