New to forum -- Is this an ETM issue?

My girlfriend has a 99 S80 that has been cutting out at 45-50 mph but it only does it in this short window. If you accelerate quickly it doesn't cut out but if you accelerate slowly or are cruising is when it cuts out. She has had the recall done (so she says). Is this an ETM issue or is something else failing? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

It certainly could be the ETM...for it to cut out just at those miles...does the engine die?
I would have the trouble codes read to confirm- if this is an issue with the ETM, you should get an ETS code.

No, it doesn't die or loose any acceleration. It just in that zone and once your above it (or below it) it stops and the car is normal.

Get your codes read...that's the only way you'll know if this is related to the ETM or not.
