Door Lock/Unlock features Topic is solved

Is there a programming download or somthing that would unlock ALL doors with only ONE push of the button on the remote key? It seems that there's a condiserable delay of when I push the button to unlock the driver side door and then I push again to unlock the rest of the doors.

Hello. I think that nobody is glad whith the own region specifications.

I live in Spain, and last week I asked at the dealer to get that two-touch unlocking, the same you described. Unfortunately, they told me that it only comes with the american specs....

There are a number of variables to door lock and unlock features, despite what the dealer might have told you.

You will see a number of people who have been able to successfully change their settings.

Don't let ANYONE tell you that it cannot be done. It can... While there may be some money involved between software and labor, you have options. Best of luck...

I know this is an old post that I am hijacking, but is there a way to make the horn honk/beep/anything, when you lock the doors? From the owners manual it looks like only the side markers flash, but it seems mine don't flash every time. Plus it is nice to be able to walk away and not have to look for the lights to know it is locked.

I believe it's a setting that the dealer can enable but only with their equipment.

Yup, and with a software download--VIDA needs to talk to the PIE server and build a new Car Configuration File (no, I'm not yanking your chain) for the car in order to change the parameter.
