96 855 --Something rolling around IN the floor.

So everytime I go around a turn, it sounds like a couple things rolling/ slidding around in the floor under the driver area. First of all; is it possible for something to be IN the floor rolling around? And second; how can I get to it? Very annoying. Also, does anyone have a tip to get the slack out of the latch for the back seat- back rest ? They keep clunking over every bump.

There's a plastic duct that feeds heat to the back seat passengers.
Look under the front seat from the back side.
Bring a flashlight and a parts grabber/magnet.

Your seats are on rails...I found a small battery (like you use for a camera) in one of my rails once...couldn't find it to get it out until I removed that seat. I'd check the easy stuff first.

I found this ....

in the vents under the seat.It was a whole egg at one time....kept blaming the dog for the smell and could never understand why he always looked so innocent

Seems that the "perp" left his name on his "calling card"

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I was sure that someone had dropped a socket into the door or bodywork, or that the car was coming apart.....that rrrrrr...clunk sound on braking, right turns, etc. Looked under the seat in the vent pipe and found the PO's golf ball there. Ahhhhh.....silence now.....thanks again!

My PO's kids had the map pockets in the seat backs full of toys, crayons,
candy wrappers and maybe a half a box of animal cracker crumbs...
About an inch deep. LOVE my shop vac !
