The cam, crank and main sensor are new. I went to replace the speed sensor and I was told it would not stop the car from running so I took the part back.
The meter I just bought and to tell the truth I do not know how to reset the code. Have not had much time to read the book.
The crank was covered in oil and small metal pieces. The cam looked good and used but did not stand out to me that it was bad, but with sensors I have been told looks are irrelevant it still could be bad.
I swapped the battery, the car was cranking good with the old one but I heard that it still might be bad,so I swapped it out just for shits and giggles,it did not help.
Hopefully I will get the chance to check the voltage to the sensors tomorrow I believe it should run around five volts. After that I am not sure of the next step.
Just curious if an ECU is bad would it tell on its self.....

Thanks for the help. eboknight

It does have a checksum error code but normally if it dies it is to brain dead to tell you that it died.

Sounds like an ignition switch problem to me also.

Well I pulled the cam sensor just to check and make sure every thing was clean and not rusted, I did not find any problems. I also checked the voltage at the cam and maf sensors with the key in the on position, there was none.
What its sounding like to me is that I will be checking on prices for ignition switches tomorrow.
Thanks again for all the help....
