loose steering wheel

Ihave 2003 s60 2.0t and the steering wheel has become loose. How do access the steering head assuming its under the air bag. Help appreciated.

How do access the steering head assuming its under the air bag.

With great care or you will get a face full of air bag.

These are the VADIS instructions:

S60 battery disconnect..pdf: (1.03 MiB) Downloaded 595 times

SRM calibrating.pdf: (405.35 KiB) Downloaded 598 times

Pay particular attention to the battery disconnect/reconnect. If you have any more questions post them.

Hi All,

Been browsing this site for useful info so signed up. Just wanted to let anyone reading know that I did this today and its resolved! including the creaking that was occurring when turning - so no bush replacement required as well!

Worth doing.
