s70 1998
Car has rough idle from time to time when sitting at a red light.
Car stalled out, but was able to start her back up and proceed.
Is this going to increase its frequency and if it was able to start back up after the stall, when and if this happens again, will it allow to turn back on again?
There were no check engine lights. Mileage is at 185,000
Hope this helps.

Is the Check Engine Light on? If so, get the codes read and post back here and it will be easier for someone to help you diagnose the poblem.
Any other symptoms? How many miles on the car?

I had this problem recently. Read through the stalling threads on this forum, there's a lot here. I replaced the fuel injection relay, which effected the frequency temporarily but didn't solve the problem, and the MAF. The new MAF fixed it. Yours may be different, though.

I had the same problem in my 1998 V70. It was the MAF sensor. New one solved the problem. If I recall correctly, the only code I was getting was the "171" code...indicating a lean fuel mixture. The MAF was faulty and would "dump" fuel into the mix and stall the car out. Lots of black soot at the tailpipe and sometimes black smoke briefly! This was over a year ago...and about 40,000 km. Still running great!
I got my new one from FCP Groton for a reasonable price...
