s90 after market parts yes or no

because of the on going problem with stalling im going to replace the maf. so are after market products you find on ebay for around less than half the price of original parts. whats your handle, opinion, on these parts, thanks.

I probably use more after market products than OEM having been advised to do so by a Volvo service manager. He said that many of the OEM parts were actually the same as the after market but cost more because "they come in a fancy Volvo box".

When they lost the Volvo franchise, because Volvo wanted a national chain to take over all the smaller franchises and not because of the anti-Volvo parts advice being handed out, most of their customers remained loyal and found their servicing bills were greatly reduced as after market parts were being used.

Thanks Bill. I wasnt sure about it. I love this s90 so will buy the aftermarket MAF and keep fingers crossed that this helps the stalling problem. Ill keep you posted! alan a.k.a. steelfish.
