Just bought a '94 850 and my what a sweet car! My name is Mary and I live near Lake Placid, NY. One of the lovely things I discovered is that the odometer is 230500 + but I found a repair record that states that the engine was replaced at 187300. I'm guessing that it's just about broken in now. It shifts perfectly (me not so well). Paid $1200 for it. Color is dark green that sometimes looks black, sometimes blue. There is a little rust here and there and the clear coat is gone from the hood. My son was impressed! So am I!!!!

I am new to this model.
The 240 has been the mainstay for the last few decades.
I am also impressed with the 850. It is a 1996 GLT.
The wife calls it the 'Tardis" after the Doctor Who show.
Smallish on the outside, decidely roomy on the inside.
It is also nice to have the extra power from the 20V 2.4l motor. A far cry from the old B21 and B230. It is a bit hard getting used to the front wheel drive. Have to re-learn the skills I acquired in the 70's with the Rabbits and Audis I drove for a living.
