service light resetting

can someone tell me how to reset the service light after it comes on for oil change. its a 1994 940 turbo wagon

Look to the left of the trip-odometer reset button. There should be a rubber plug. If you pull off that rubber plug, there is a recessed button that you can push with a small object (paperclip, etc.). On my car I remember holding it for about 15 seconds with the car off, then holding it in whilst starting the car, and that seemed to take care of the light. Before, I would just push it while the car was on, it would go out, and would be back on the next time...
