fuel injector is not fireing . works on three cylinders only. fourth injector is good but may not be receiving signal. Could the wire leading to top of injector be bad and replaced.

Yes. But first I would try taking apart the connectors and putting them back together a few times to make sure you have good contact in them.

Try to backprobe the injector wires with a test light and see if they are firing. I buy most of my fuel injection components including pigtails from www. fiveomotorsports.com

It is unusual to see the wiring fail but it does happen.
