Broken oil cooler line or ruptured oil cooler? Don't start the car until you get the cause of this repaired and get fresh oil into the engine.

got the car 6 weeks ago.engine VERY clean.friend noticed that oil pressure sensor disconnected and way too much oil in engine and drained the excess off. car has been running great though.could this have happened before and previous owner has patched it up to get rid of it? also car does appear sluggish compared to my last v40 which was 2.0L this one is 1.8L?
