V70xc 2001 tranny filter

Is there a replaceable transmission filter on the xc's? I'm assuming there is a tranny filter?

No there isn't...that's why it's best to flush it periodically and just replace what's bad. The plug for draining it is magnetic- guess that's about the only "filtration" it has.
