I have a 2007 "Heico" tuned volvo s-40/T5. The car has aftermarket heico suspension, exhaust, body kit and wheels/tires. Stock HP numbers for your basic s40/t5 are around 218, I assume with exhaust I am making around 220-225. I am looking to get this car to around 300HP in the cheapest, yet safest manor for the vehicle. I don't want to do any upgrades that are consistently going to require maintance or do harmful engine damage b/c the car's factory parts couldn't handle the HP. Any suggestions on what to look at, and what changes can be made to ensure some (engine safe) HP gains?
