Auto to manual transmition

Will it take any ECU remaping if I wanted to replace my junked auto tranny with a manual one for my 850?

yes, or just a manual ECU.
I don't know anyone who's done it here...check on www.volvospeed.com and click into the "message board," and join and you'll find tons there on this. Btw, they aren't as friendly as we are- if you don't search first as a newbie you'll get a bunch of reckless kids giving you a hard time, so make sure you go in and post after searching, showing everyone that you've done at least some of your homework first.
