Here is another problem with my S80.
I just found out when I am braking on the highway with speed around 100-120KM, my steering wheel start vibrating. I was driving, another two friends sitted at the back. But the strange thing is, the brake has no problem(steering wheel is ok) when only me or with my GF sitting in the front.
Can someone please help! Thx

My first guess would be that your brake rotors are warped or otherwise not flat. See this post: https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... 11&t=13415

When you have the car jacked up and properly supported, you might also want to inspect your steering linkages/supports/etc.
With your friends in the back, you're changing the load characteristics, and (although this is a bit if a stretch) the change in the geometry might be making your vibration more noticable...
Of course, the simpler explanation might be you've simply got more weight in the car, so you've got to press harder on the warped brakes to slow down.
Does your girlfriend let you go 120km? (just kidding)
But anyway, it never hurts to inspect things while you're in there getting dirty.

i have hade this problem on my ford and it was the rotors. after resurfacing the rotors it is a common problem and starts occuring in about 6-7 months.
if it is the rotors, change the brake pads as well even if they are new...
