2001 S-40 seals and Timing stuff.

Post by AlanS »

So I ordered the 'kit' for my son's 2001 S40- Timing components and water pump. I did not realize that there are a bunch of seals that came with the kit (probably could have paid less if I did not order 'the kit'). Anyway. I was all geared up to do the belt/ tensioner, pump, etc....BUT now I have to deal with these seals. I haven't a clue how to remove pulleys, etc. to get to these seals...and THEN, how to remove and replace. Any guides, clues? otherwise I will just leave them if they are not leaking.
