960 air con blower

Hello folks.Newby here and a warm welcome from "sunny" Wales.
I've just purchased a brand new previously enjoyed 1996 960 estate and find to my chagrin the cool/hot air blower only works on the highest setting.Someone once mentioned the possibility of a "resistor pack".Would that possibly be the case?If so where is it and what does it look like?It would be nice to get some aircon in the pitifully short days that we actually have sunshine here.
