1992 940 GL sunroof slipping

The sunroof opens about half way then stops. does anyone know how to fix this? By the way the car is for sale. 1992 940 GL dark green, tan leather, pwr everything, 220k, needs radiater and window motor. 2k OBO

by the way, I went to Auburn in the 80's. I had this problem with my 87 turbo SAAB, and it was the teeth on the sunroof motor that had gotten rubbed smooth because there was so much crap in the sunroof track. Check the track above for debris. I found a used motor on Ebay, and pulled both tracks out and cleaned each of the screw wrapped tracks. It worked...but trust me, look at the motor first. Let me know what you find.
