hi,i have a volvo940 turbo diesel will the fuel pump handle svo ok.?what are the problems that are likely to occur markerjim

I don't either, but I'm guessing it means S______ Vegetable Oil, as in home-made biodiesel.

Good find, says it all really. The pump will handle it so long as the viscosity is right.

I do know of one Land Rover Discovery using vegetable oil but by the time a second tank was fitted with the heating equipment, changeover valves and all the other bits and pieces it will be at least two years before he is into profit as the overall cost of the oil is not much less than diesel. In cold weather he runs as much on diesel as the other.
