GLT motor in an N/A?
I was planning on dropping my whole motor out anyways for the RMS. I was just wondering how hard it would be to put a 1998 s70 GLT motor in a 1998 NA s70. Also would the glt motor line up to the NA tranny? Thanks

All the same tranny, should work fine- but remember that one has a turbo and one doesn't- if you're transfering turbo and intercooler piping, etc., then you're gonna need the ECU (computer) out of the GLT as well.

so basically what i have gathered is that to do the transfer i need the motor w/ turbo, ecu, intercooler (w/ piping etc) and wiring harness. anything else you can think of?

I think that's about it. Hopefully others will chime in- I've never done and engine swap.

Verify whether trans has an internal throwout bearing or external as this will affect piping from brake system for fluid supply. In addition ensure N.A fuel pump can supply sufficient fuel(press/qty) for the HPT motor, and you may want to swap the radiator as ell.
