Post by kdaide »

Can anyone tell me if there is (and what it is) torque setting for the disc rotor set bolt and/or the caleper holder bolts?

Thanks, Kevin

I don't know on the stud, but be careful not to strip it.

On the caliper bolts, 74 ft-lbs on the front, 44 ft-lbs on the rear.

For the sliding pins, 20 ft-lbs.

I misread the torque setting on my wrench and snapped the locator pin (or disc guide pin?). Do you know what the specs are on this pin since I need to find a new one tomorrow and the dealer won't be open.

Do you mean the stud that holds the disc onto the hub? I don't know what the specs are, but you can assemble everything without it. It will just be tougher to line up the wheel and disc holes with the hub holes. The lug bolts really take all the stress.

If you are referring to the small bolt that holds the rotor on when the wheel is removed. The torque setting for it is 8nm.
