Brake pedal position adjustment, is it possible

I recently took delivery of my 2005 s40 T5, it is a fantastic car in so many ways and I compare it directly to my other car, a Nissan 350Z.

My only isuue is that the brake pedal is about 1.5 inches higher/ closer than the accelerator pedal. This make it ery hard to quickly shift your foot from accelerator to brake. Does anyone know if there is an easy fix to move the brake pedal back/ further away. Any advice would be greatly appreicated.
