Would like to make contribution to your site but Security?

I view your site daily and really feel I should make a small contribution for all your efforts.
Normally when using VISA I am accustomed to seeing a 'padlock' at the bottom of the webpage to indicate that the website is secure and it is safe to post my VISA number, etc.
I see that one can also contribute via Paypal but don't they charge a fee to use their services? I would rather pay directly via VISA but am worried about security.

Note to everyone, I not associated with the website so am not doing this just to drum up more contributions for Matthew but I do think that would be a good idea.

I gave a few bucks a couple weeks ago using PayPal; looking back at the transaction now, there was no fee associated with the donation.

I have been charged fees for using Visa for eBay on several occasions, but I don't know if maybe that is waived if it's specifically a donation.
