Mechanic Recommendation? - Los Angeles

My 2003 V40 just hit 100K (yes, I got pictures and all!) and I find myself in a predicament of sorts.

According to the book, it's time for a timing belt and, being the programtic sort, probably a water pump. We also need brakes on all 4 corners, which would probably mean pads AND rotors (since the last time I got slotted x-drilled rotors for the front and did not replace the ultra-thin back ones).

The dealer wants over $1000 for the timing belt, you add the brakes to this and it'll likely to hit $2000. Probably not out of line, but out of my reach.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic in Los Angeles? Thanks a bunch for the advice.
