No Mods, No Repairs, Built for UK Market, now in Ireland 64344 miles.

I have reduced performence

, heavy black smoke when accelerating

. I think its a Turbo problem, due to noise from engine when accelerating any ideas.

try and scan your car for pending codes or fault codes already available,given the black smoke you should have a few codes and this should direct you to the problem area,hope this helps

Heavy black smoke indicates way too much diesel fuel is being injected for the amount of air going into the engine. Look for an air leak on the pressure side of the turbo. You might have a loose clamp or burst hose.

Hello Folks,

thanks for the help,found burst hose, carried out temp repair and all is well. Will get new hose from local dealer tomorrow.
