How much is a 1976 242 DL worth??

From Nadaguides.com this car has retail value of $2500 for average condition.
I see this car being sold on recycler.com for around $800. Mine has original
engine with only 104,000 miles. It needs a tune up, brakes, and the front two seats have deteriorated stuffing. But ohter than that this car is in really good condition.

The Volvo 240 is a great car, and yours has very low milage. But any car that is almost 30 years old is only worth as much as the buyer is willing to pay. 240's of this vintage are not worth very much and if it needs brakes, tune up and interior work .... well .... personally I would either continue driving it as a cheap reliable and safe car that owes you nothing, or if you sell it take whatever is offered.
