hello,
i have a 2001 volvo v70xc with about 74,000 miles on it and whenever i start my car the service light comes on and stays on for about a minute or two, then turns off and stays off untill i start the car again. is this something to worry about? any ideas on what it could be?
any insight is greatly appreciated, thanks

This is just a reminder light that comes on (factory setting) every 7.5K miles to remind you to change your oil- so you should change it. To reset, do the following.
Before putting your key in the ignition,
push and hold down the odometer reset button, then while still holding it, put your key in and turn it to position II... when you year beeps and a light flashing on your dash, let go of the odometer button...now turn your key off and the reminder light should be out.
